Oh my gosh, I don’t even know where to begin with these two! I first got in touch with Maddie through a mutual friend, and I am SO thankful that we did! From the first moment that I met Maddie and Marc, I instantly felt connected to them. They are two of the most genuine, good hearted people you will ever meet. Laid back, down to earth, and so full of love for each other and everyone around them. The kind of people that you meet and feel like you have known for years. One of the most special aspects of their wedding day was the fact that they got married on Marc’s family land. It is where Maddie and Marc spent the beginning of their relationship, where Marc proposed, and where they will be living as a married couple! Those little details make everything so much sweeter, and what makes their little Newnan wedding one that I will hold close to my heart for years to come!
Maddie and Marc first met in small town Louisiana. “Marc and I both attended college at Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, Louisiana (my hometown) . Marc was there on a scholarship to play baseball and I was there because it was my hometown college. He was there for about a year before we got to know each other. Approaching his second year there, we got to know each other and agreed on being “friends” because he didn’t have time for a relationship due to baseball and I just didn’t want one. Well as our friendship grew fonder so did our love for one another. That summer Marc returned home to Newnan, Ga to spend the summer with his family. I thought it would be a great idea to drive up and surprise him and stay for just a week since we considered ourselves a “couple” now. Well a week turned into two weeks, then three, then I ended up spending the entire summer up here with his family. The following year Marc played baseball at Auburn University, where we experienced how difficult long distance relationships could be, but it only made us stronger. Marc returned to live in Newnan, and of course… I followed 🙂 After around a year of me living in Newnan, Marc proposed. It was the most special day of my life and one that I will never forget. Not only did I have no clue it was coming, but he went about it in the sweetest most special way. Needless to say, were super excited to take this next step in life and are looking forward to a very blessed and bright future!”
One of the things that Maddie loves most about Marc is the fact that he has the sweetest, most humble heart she’s ever known. Marc is incredibly intentional and caring, and he absolutely adores Maddie. They shared in the sweetest first look, and were then surrounded by an amazing group of friends and family. Their wedding was most definitely a labor of love, and it was amazing to see all of the hard work that everyone put in to making their day perfect. Not a single detail was out of place, and all of the personal details made my heart so happy! Their favors were raw brown sugar and natural cane sugar from Louisiana. Marc’s grooms cake was surrounded by his Auburn baseball memorabilia, and Maddie’s favorite Bible verse lined the aisle as she walked towards her groom.
Maddie and Marc, thank you for being such a shining example of Christ’s love. Y’all made every single person feel special and loved on your wedding day, and I have absolutely no doubt that y’all are going to be blessed in your marriage. From the bottom of my heart, thank you SO much for allowing Alexis and I to capture your love story. I am so thankful for both of y’all, and am so honored and humbled to have been a part of your big day! CONGRATS MR. & MRS. FRAZIER!!
So much love,
the creative team
