Today is a GOOD day!! I am so excited to share Ellie and Chris’s The Fairmont Wedding with y’all! Every single wedding is special, but this wedding is special in so many different ways. The Fairmont is one of Atlanta’s newest venues, and the Deedy wedding was their very FIRST wedding! How amazing is that?! The Fairmont is Novare Events largest event space, and like all of their events, the quality of service was incredible. It was an absolutely perfect day from start to finish!
Ellie and Chris met at Ellie’s sorority house at the University of Alabama. They starting working on some economics homework together, and the rest as they say, is history! Ellie and Chris are both such genuine, big hearted people. Throughout their entire wedding day, countless people were talking about how servant hearted and giving they are. And let’s not forget their sense of humor! They both have the ability to lighten up any situation with humor, and make everyone around them smile and laugh. And there was an abundance of laughter and smiles the entire day. As Alexis and I spent time with Ellie and her bridesmaids as they were getting ready, laughter didn’t stop the entire morning. Ellie and Chris were both surrounded by the most wonderful, loving, light hearted group. They were such a joy to spend the day with, and made our jobs SO easy!
And talking about classic, timeless beauty – Ellie was absolutely RADIANT! And like me, I’m sure you did a double take while looking at Ellie’s stunning ring. What makes it even more special is the fact that Chris got the rings from Worthmore Jewelers – Ellie’s mom’s jewerly store! Sentimental details like this make every wedding and love story that much more special. And the fact that this was the very first wedding at this venue gave all of the vendors creative freedom to create something unique. And wow did everyone deliver! One of my favorite details from the entire day was the ceremony space. Gorgeous floral arrangements lined the aisle to create a dramatic, elegant feel to the space. And as Ellie walked down the aisle to her groom, nobody could hold back tears!
Mr. and Mrs. Deedy, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much for allowing Alexis and I to be apart of your most special day. To say that y’all are loved would be a major understatement, and we feel incredibly lucky to have witnessed your first day of marriage!
Here are just a few of our favorites!
So much love,
Syd & Lex
