After ten years together, Brittany and Stuart finally had their Barnsley Resort wedding this past weekend! These high school sweethearts share the sweetest love, and it was such a joy to witness these two declare their love for one another and God as they became husband and wife. Their marriage is a long time in the making, and I have absolutely no doubt that this will be their best season yet. Brittany and Stuart are each others best friends, and adore one another whole heartedly. They are selfless and loving, and they care deeply for everyone around them.
Right before their ceremony was supposed to begin, summer storms came rolling in. Guests waited out the storm under umbrellas and tents before the skies cleared up! A little rain wasn’t going to stop Brittany and Stuart from having their dream ceremony! And they had a beautiful, beautiful ceremony. They never lost sight of what was most important, and they were continually pointed back to Jesus. The pure joy on their faces after their first kiss was PRICELESS!
There’s no denying the fact that Barnsley Resort is a stunning venue for any celebration. The Ruins were the perfect backdrop, and an absolute DREAM to photograph! And to make their day even better, Brittany and Stuart are the biggest Auburn fans. Stuart had the most amazing (and delicious) Auburn cookie cake. COOKIE CAKE! It was brilliant, and a huge win in my book! After their last song, the band sent everyone off to the front of the ruins for their send off with Auburn shakers! My little Auburn loving heart was so happy, and you could see the joy in their faces as they made their way through the tunnel!
Brittany and Stuart, thank you so much for not only allowing Alexis and I to capture your wedding, but for inviting us into your families. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with open arms and this continued the entire day. The way that y’all look at one another warms my heart, and I am so excited for this next chapter in your life! The waiting is finally over, enjoy every minute of being husband and wife!!
CONGRATULATIONS MR. & MRS. SMITH!
