Oh my goodness!! I had been looking forward to Sarah & Cody’s Rustix Manor wedding since we first met this past August. I was instantly drawn to their joy and the overwhelming amount of love that they have for one another. I just knew that we were going to be the perfect fit for each other. After Sarah completed her undergrad at UGA and Cody at Auburn, they both went on to Physical Therapy School at Mercer University. It was at Mercer that Sarah and Cody met, started dating, fell in love, and eventually got engaged! After years of PT School, Cody proposed to Sarah at their graduation celebration dinner. They were surrounded by both of their families, including Sarah’s 91 year old Grandmommy. I seriously don’t think their day could have been any more wonderful!
Sarah & Cody are two of the most genuinely in love people I have ever been around. They absolutely adore one another, and that love overflows to everyone they meet. You are simply happier after spending time with these two! On their wedding day, emotions were in full swing. Once Alexis and I arrived, we were treated like family and welcomed in with open arms. Rustix Manor is a gorgeous venue in Woodstock, and was the perfect setting for Sarah & Cody. Sarah told me she was sold on the venue when she saw the getting ready rooms! They are so homey, and were the perfect places for everyone to start the day!
Right before Sarah & Cody had their first look, they read letters that they had written one another. After wiping away tears, it was time for Cody to see his bride! It was beginning to drizzle as Sarah & Cody embraced one another on a private dock. The reflection in the water made this beautiful moment even more romantic, and it’s a moment I will never forget! And like a typical summer day in Georgia, we had just about every type of weather we could! An overcast first look was followed by rainy portraits, and then full on sun the rest of the day!
I had the hardest time holding back my tears the entire day as I witnessed their love story. It was the most beautiful start to their marriage, and Alexis and I could not be more grateful that we were able to be a part of it. Their families and all of their guests love these two SO, so much. How could they not? They are selfless, joyful, caring, and absolutely head over heels in love. There wasn’t a single thing that Alexis and I had to do to make these pictures happen, other than capture the moments that played out! And that is a beautiful thing 🙂
Mr. & Mrs. Klein, there aren’t enough words to describe the love that I have for you both!! CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR MARRIAGE!
